The Emery County Sheriff’s Office received a call today from a landscaping company that one of their employees was behaving suspiciously and had locked himself in a room. When the sheriff’s office went to investigate, the employee wasn’t around.
Later in the day a report came in of a stolen vehicle. Another phone call came in of a person in lower Miller Creek acting strangely. The stolen vehicle was recovered in Miller Creek and also a stolen school bus was recovered.
The bus had apparently been taken from a bus driver’s home in the area. A subject has been arrested in the two thefts, Patrick Fredricksen is being held in the Emery County jail. An investigation is ongoing into the matter and charges are pending at this time. More details as they become available.
