HUNTINGTON – Mark Coleman Logan, age 54, passed away April 21, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer and kidney disease. He was born May 26, 1960 in Provo, Utah to Jesse Ray Logan and Dixie Thomas where he attended schools in Provo and Orem.
Mark loved music and was a talented guitarist and singer. He was a very skilled craftsman who could restore an old building and make it new again. Mark enjoyed fishing, golfing and trips to Wendover with Lana. He had a wonderful personality and was loved by anyone he came in contact with. Mark loved his wonderful neighbors and the community in Huntington.
Mark loved his three children, Jessica (Jeff) Grohl, Waylon Logan and Lacey Logan and he was proud to be their dad. He is survived by them and his two adorable granddaughters Lily Jean and Olivia June; his best friend and partner Lana Hunt and her son Daniel Valdez; devoted mom Dixie Taylor and step-father Roger Taylor; and siblings, Rod (Susan) Richardson, Jan (Rob) Read, Shar (Ray) Morton, MarNae Taylor and Karen (Joel) Webb.
Funeral service, Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 1 p.m., at Miller’s Landing (123 North Main) in Huntington. Family will receive friends at Miller’s Landing Tuesday starting at 12:00 noon. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Mark online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
