Castle Dale Days was celebrated with a BBQ and kids rodeo during the week and the remainder of the activities on Saturday. The Castle Dale Parade started at the church parking lot and came down Main Street. Mason Trucking of Salina brought nine trucks for the Castle Dale Parade. Mason Trucking entered a large yellow wrecker and towing truck in the parade.

The nine trucks including the large yellow wrecker were on display to show people close up how big some of these trucks are. Mason Diesel out of Aurora also had a truck in the parade. Robinson trucking displayed the tan coal truck. Children and adults were allowed to examine the trucks on display at the Rodeo Park. Castle Dale Fire Trucks were also in the parade.
Castle Dale Mayor Danny Van Wagoner in his yellow and brown Bed and Breakfast truck led the parade right behind the flag carried by the Emery County Riding Club.
For childrens entertainment in the park, games were set up by the Castle Dale City volunteer fire department.
One game was a cupcake walk, where each contestant was given a tennis ball with a number on it and when the music stopped. If they were on a square that corresponded with the number on their tennis ball, they received a prize of a Hostess cupcake.

Tours were being given around the rodeo grounds behind chutes by the Emery County Recreation Department and the stock contractor to see where the cattle and horses were kept.
