Emery County Mosquito and Weed Supervisor, Cory Worwood announced the Emery County Mosquito and Weed Board received an award from the Utah Weed Control Association for being the best weed board in the state. This award was given because Emery County has been working diligently to eradicate Russian olives from the drainage areas in the county. They were also recognized for the committee made up of property owners assisting in the removal of Russian olives, beside the various rivers and streams in Emery County.
