Thursday August 6th at 5 pm is our Showdeo.
Friday August 7th at 5 pm is our bike ride.
Also on Friday night at the 5-way stop is our glow in the dark 5k/1 mile run/walk. Registration is at 8:30 pm. Contestants will get a shirt and glow sticks and a flasher. Sooooo fun!!!
Saturday August 8th is our parade at 10 am starting at the 5-way stop followed by bingo at the pavilion.

Miss Heart Of Utah Pageant
The Miss Heart of Utah Pageant is now accepting applications for contestants. The Miss Heart of Utah Pageant is an official preliminary of the Miss America Organization and the winner will compete at the Miss Utah Pageant in June. The pageant will be August 29, 2015 at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield. Areas of competition include: Interview, Talent, Swimsuit and Evening Gown. Women ages 17-24 who were raised in or currently live in or attend school in the following counties are eligible: Sevier, Sanpete, Piute, Wayne, Emery, Carbon, Juab, Beaver and Millard. Directors are seeking a representative from each county to compete. Don’t delay! You could be crowned the first ever Miss Heart of Utah! Scholarships are available. Class Reunion
Emery High class of 1975 will be having a 40 year class reunion on July 31 at the Castle Valley Outdoors. Social hour is from 5-6 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. S’more fun and great visiting to follow. Family support Group: Wednesday at 7 p.m. Castle Dale Stake Center, High Council room, 25 E. Main.

This 12 step program is adapted with permission from AA World Services to include the Savior, Jesus Christ as our higher power. The program assists substance and behavior addicts and their families who desire a better life free of addictions.
There is no cost. No referral or recommendation is needed. All Meetings are anonymous and confidential.

The “Emery County Centennial History Book” of 1996, written by Dr. Edward A. Geary, will now be on sale for only $6. Emery County’s three Museums will be happy to fill your order while you view all the new displays in each. The Officers of Emery County Historical Society: Suzanne, Pres., Lori Ann, VP Elect., Evelyn, Sec., and Joyce, Trea., will also be happy to take orders.
