The Emery County Business Chamber will host its September Lunch and Learn on Sept. 16 at noon. The event will be held at Miller’s Landing in Huntington, 123 North Main.
The main speaker will be Nathan Hansen from Conductive Composites. He will speak on entrepreneurial opportunities in the tech industry as well as speak about the expansion of Conductive Composites into Emery County. Everyone is invited and you do not have to be a chamber member to attend.
Nathan Hansen is the President of Conductive Composites. Dr. Hansen holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. He has five years of embedded experience in small business management and growth, supplanted by 10 years in development and application of conductive materials for commercial systems and defense platforms. Dr. Hansen leads the Executive Management Team that directs Conductive Composites, and is involved in all company affairs, including strategic business development, customer relations, government programs, manufacturing scale up, and product development.
The Cost for the luncheon is $12.
Vikki Barnett the Branch Manager of Washington Federal Credit Union will teach how to protect yourself from fraud.
Business Spotlight will be Jay Stilson, DDS and Joshua Bryan, DC. The catering will be provided by Cherry On Top with choices of Chicken Salad or Crab Salad Crepe Please RSVP by Sept 14.
