ELMO- Our loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Steven Greg Oliver, age 32, passed away Sept. 7, 2015. He was born Jan. 29, 1983 in Price, Utah to Greg LeRoy and Carol Ann Bates Oliver. Married Misty Jane Tucker March 11, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Steve attended school at Franklin High School in Pennsylvania. He then went to Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington where he received his degree in Auto Body Mechanics. He also graduated from the College of Eastern Utah with a degree in heavy equipment, CDL and HAZMAT. Steve worked for Savage Inc., Nielson Construction, TriMac and Barney Trucking. He enjoyed watching the Ute games and NASCAR racing, going camping, fishing and hunting with his family. One of his favorite things was going rock crawling out in the desert and down in Moab in his favorite toy “The Beep”. Steve was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his loving wife, Misty Tucker Oliver; children, Dakota Tucker, Josie Tucker, Hailie Oliver, Jarrett Oliver, all of Elmo; father, Greg (Tina) Oliver, Cleveland; mother, Carol (David) Daniels, Brigham City; siblings, Kelsey (Chad) Bywater, Corinne, Amie (Clint) Sorensen, Huntington, Korinne (Travis) Smith, Germany, Audrey (Michael) Mecham, Pleasant View, Chelsea (Kel) Water, Brigham City, Paul Daniels, Brigham City, Michelle (Dylan) Priano, Helper, Brandon Oliver, Cleveland; grandmother, Connie Oliver, Spring Glen; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his sister and brother-in- law, Shaniel (Scott) Donaldson; grandparents, James and Ellen Bates and LeRoy Oliver.
Funeral service was held, Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main, Price). Family received friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment, Cleveland City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Steven online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
