Our loving mom, grandmother and great grandmother Madge Nelson age 95 passed away peacefully Nov. 8, 2015 in Elmo, Utah.
She was born July 10, 1920 in Cleveland to Moses and Florence Ward Tucker. On Nov. 5, 1938 she married the love of her life Newel Nelson. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on July 21, 1948.
Madge was beautiful inside and out. She was a loving caretaker of many. She gave unconditional love to everyone and never met anyone she didn’t like. Madge was a very gifted homemaker. No one ever left her home hungry. Madge will be remembered for her countless acts of kindness.
In her later years she lived at the Beehive House in Elmo. Madge loved it there and they were very kind to her. She touched many lives and made many dear friends.
Madge left this life and stepped into the loving arms of many loved ones, her husband, two daughters, Mickie and Berta, her brother in law Bud Nelson, her parents Mode and Florie, sisters Lola and Lylis, brothers, Vance, Merril, Henry, Steve, Ward and Jim, loving in laws and many more.
She is survived by her son Lynn (Doloris) Nelson, daughter Flora (Richard) Motte, sister in law Kath Ward, son in law Clifton Carter, nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at the Cleveland LDS Chapel at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held Thursday, prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Cleveland Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may visit and sign the online guest book and share memories of Madge at www.fausettmortuary.com.
Goodbye mama, you can now dance and walk with the angels.
