Seventh District Court Juvenile Judge Scott Johansen has come under nationwide scrutiny for his decision to remove a baby from the home of a foster family in Price.
The couple was an approved foster parent family. A baby was placed with the couple, but then later removed when Judge Johansen deemed the baby would be better off in a traditional family setting with a mother and a father. The foster parents are a Lesbian couple with biological children of their own living in the home.
The foster parent couple is considering legal action against the judge and many are calling for his resignation.
