On November 27-28, climbers of all levels from around the country are invited to join the people of Orangeville and Castle Dale to celebrate the sport of climbing and the Utah towns that support our adoration for their sandstone boulders.
As the popularity of climbing continues to grow, it is vital to craft a culture that focuses on positive relationships with the land we recreate on, education on stewardship, and creating a sense of ownership that inspires us to take care of our boulders.
The festival will bring together bouldering, history, and community to highlight what makes Joe’s Valley such a special destination for climbers. We hope to see you down in the valley for a weekend of clinics, film screenings, community events, and more.
Joe’s Valley Fest is one of the first events of its kind on the west coast-it’s an outdoor bouldering festival that celebrates the climbing and community surrounding Joe’s Valley.
In addition to bringing climbers together to share our passion for this bouldering destination, it also provides a platform for the community to address access issues and continue developing a positive relationship with locals.
