Shelbee Murdoch recently competed at the Miss Utah Outstanding Teen Pageant. Murdoch did really well in the competition. The contestants were split into two groups, a red group and a blue group. The first night of preliminaries there were two award winners, one from the blue group who competed in talent that night, and one from the red group who competed in evening gown and onstage question.
Murdoch was in the red group and won the preliminary that night in evening gown and onstage question. Then she competed the next day in talent, then came back later that night to find out who would be competing in the top 10 finalists for the title of Miss Utah Outstanding Teen. She made it into the top 10 so she again competed in all categories, fitness, evening gown, onstage question, and talent. She made so many great friends while she was there and participated in so many fun activities. It was a hard two months before the pageant for her because she had to be up north every weekend for preparation, but it was worth it and paid off in the end as she was one of the top competitors.
