Oren Denver Akelund, the eighth child of Harman Lavern Akelund and Dennis Larsen was born in the spring of 1929 on May 13th in Castle Dale, Utah at the start of the Great Depression. He died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at Price, Utah. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Spring Glen LDS Church. A viewing was held Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment, Manti City Cemetery.
