SALT LAKE CITY-Lupie Ann Benavidez Thornton, age 84, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2016. Ann was born Feb. 9, 1931 in Lumberton, New Mexico to Alfred and Elviria Benavidez. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, 2 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, Utah.
