On Feb. 1, 2016, Jessie Thomas Chandler passed away in Colorado, son of Jo Anne Chandler and Quinn Dumas and adopted son of Thomas D. Jenkins. He was born March 21, 1968 in Green River, Emery County, Utah.
He married his high school sweetheart, Tina Cordova, in Glendive, Montana, April 22, 2011, where they have lived since.
Jess was loved by family and friends and fellow drivers. He drove for Transport Design, Inc. for over 15 years with no accidents.
His favorite thing to do when in Green River was to take his Jeep out onto the desert either alone or with one of his favorite people, his grandmother, Barbara Anderson who was also his favorite fishing buddy.
He will be missed by all.
Jessie is survived by his wife, Tina Chandler; both sets of parents; brother, Glen T. Jenkins of Salt Lake City; half brothers, Aaron Dumas of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Arlo Dumas of Point Blank, Texas, half sister Carma Dumas of Morganton, NC; both grandmothers, Barbara Anderson of Green River, Utah and Naomi Dumas Housekeeper of Salt Lake City; sons, Justin McGee and Leeland Chandler both of Georgia; step daughters, Kourtney Cordova of Lakewood, Colo. and Kylie Youngkin of Glendive, Mont. Aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews too many to count.
Friends and family were invited to a gathering at the Green River Bible Church on Feb. 6 at 11 a.m.
