Tom Holdaway donated this bike to be raffled off as a fund raiser for the Emery County Miner’s Memorial. The bike itself is a tribute to a 1900s Board Track Racer. The neat thing about the racing number he chose to put on the bike — 125 — is that it signifies the number of miners killed in Emery County Coal Mines. The bike has been on display at Jones Ace Hardware in Castle Dale, and is currently on display at Balance Rock in Helper. You may purchase raffle tickets at Balance Rock in Helper, Wards 4 x 4 and BK’s in Huntington or Jones Ace Hardware in Castle Dale. The winning ticket will be drawn during the Miner’s Memorial Poker Ride, which will be held this summer.
