The ground breaking for the new Castle Dale City, Castle Valley Special Service District and Emery Water Conservancy District building was held on Tuesday. This new building is a joint effort between the three entities. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by early 2017. Those scooping the first shovelfuls of dirt included Jay Mark Humphrey, Dan VanWagoner, Jacob Sharp and Craig Johansen. Other attendees included Castle Dale City representatives, Brad Giles, Julie Johansen, Lael White, Jackie Collard; Commissioners Keith Brady and Ethan Migliori as well as Brubaker Construction representatives. Castle Dale City is taking the lead on the project and the other two entities will lease space in the building upon completion. A portion of the money for the building is coming from the Community Impact Board.
