Applications accepted starting May 26
The chance to apply for a permit to hunt cow elk, cow moose, doe deer or doe pronghorn in Utah is almost here.
Applications for Utah antlerless permits will be accepted through www.wildlife.utah.gov starting May 26. You must submit your application through the website no later than 11 p.m. on June 16 to be included in permit drawing.
Everything you need to apply for a permit is available at www.wildlife.utah.gov/plan-your-antlerless-hunt.html. Judi Tutorow, wildlife licensing coordinator for the DWR, says the web page has several tools to help you apply.
“Detailed maps, boundary descriptions, a list of the hunts you can apply for and a link to the application itself are among the items you’ll find on the page,” she says.
For more information, call the nearest Division of Wildlife Resources office or the DWR’s Salt Lake City office at 801-538-4700.
