CLEVELAND-Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and inspirational community leader, Jamie Marie Jensen, age 51, passed away peacefully May 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born June 15, 1964 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Her parents are Ron Carpenter and Kay Fuller Carpenter. On Feb. 20, 1988, she married Tab Yates Jensen in Cleveland, Utah where she was proud to raise her family and make Cleveland a better place for everyone.
Jamie was a huge part of her community and she served faithfully as the Cleveland Town Clerk and as an Elementary School Aide. She was a dedicated and tireless individual who was a proud supporter and member of the PTO, Youth City Council, Cleveland Days and Relay for Life. She was an inspiration to many. Her random acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
Jamie enjoyed crocheting, camping and collecting anything with a peace sign. She owned and operated “Peace of Cake” where she delighted the hearts of all. Jamie loved her family, especially her granddaughter Ava. She will be sorely missed by her family and a community of friends.
Survived by her loving husband, Tab Jensen, Cleveland; daughter, Madison Lynne (John) Johnson, Taylorsville; sons, Karson Yates Jensen, Jackson Tab Jensen, both of Cleveland; twin sister, Jodie Lynne Crum, Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Cathy (Owen) Knisely, Beaverdale, Pa., Colleen (Louis) Duman, Mineral Point, Pa.; brother, Jonathan (Laura) Rice, Union, WV.; step-mother, Joanne Pace Carpenter, Huntington; mother-in-law and father- in-law, Jack (Lorraine) Jensen, Cleveland; granddaughter, Ava Marie Johnson and baby girl Johnson due Oct. 28, 2016.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service, Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 11 a.m., Cleveland Town Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends may share memories of Jamie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
