The Above Par Grill located at the Millsite Golf Course is open for business. The Emery County Business Chamber held a ribbon cutting to welcome the new business. Vincent Kelly operates the restaurant. He earned a Certificate of Proficiency in culinary arts from Snow College. The Above Par Grill has an assortment of sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, beverages and desserts. They even have a breakfast selection to start your day off right.
Lindsay Kelly, said “One of the most popular menu items is the Santa Fe melt. It consists of a hamburger with grilled chilies, tomatoes and Swiss cheese on parmesan crusted sourdough bread. The parmesan is cooked right into the bread.” There will be a variety of specials on the weekend for customers to enjoy.
Vincent has his family to help him at the restaurant. They include: Lindsay Kelly, Cara Jenkins, Paulette Kelly, Devin Kelly and Madden Kelly.
The Par Grill is open, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their phone number is (435) 384-2680. They do accept credit cards.
