Hypno Hick to perform at the Emery County Fair, Fair week /Castle Dale Days June 8-11

Dale Days kicked off over the weekend with a carnival.
Action picks up again on Wednesday, June 8 with the free swim at the Emery County Aquatics Center all day until 4 p.m.
The BBQ for $2 begins at the fair park at 4:30 p.m. followed by the kids rodeo at 6:30 p.m. Zumba dancing from 5-6 p.m. A movie in the park The Good Dinosaur begins at dusk.
Thursday, June 9, is the senior citizen lunch, Country Rovers, Just Because singing group, dance competition, Cupcake Games, Lip sync competition, entertainment, Desertview Pro-Rodeo, Teen Activity at the pool.
Friday is the pet show, baby show, Kangaroo Show, Sand Box safari, Beach Ball Bingo, Larae’s Dance Studio, Miss Emery entertainment, Al Lampkin the Magician, Cupcake Combat, Hypno Hick Show at 6-7 p.m. Pro Rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. Night golf at 9:30 at Millsite Golf Course.
Saturday morning is a 5K run. Golf tournament all day at Millsite Golf course, Kids parade right before the big parade beginning at the rec. center street.
Grand parade at 10 a.m. starts in the Stewarts parking lot. Hypno Hick show at noon under the pavilion. Right after the parade is the miners memorial dedication at the Museum of the San Rafael.
Jackpot animal event in the indoor arena; farmer for a day event, Truck show, Kangaroo show, Fear Factor, Entertainment, Desertview Pro-Rodeo begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Saturday at 1 p.m. is the Happy Spotlight talent show.
After the rodeo there will be a concert with two bands Johnny V. and the Rhythm Addicts followed by a fireworks show and sparklers for the children. No Limits will perform after the fireworks.
Each day of the fair there will be bounce houses, exhibits in the exhibit hall, animal exhibits and kids petting zoo.
Special event exhibits include the picnic basket competition, bread sculpting, and the recycle competition.
There will be a garden wall exhibit.
New this year is the bubble tower which will shoot out bubbles over the fair park all weekend.
Kids Climbing wall will be here during the fair.
Kids rodeo events on Wednesday include: Chicken chase, pig chase, stick horse race, mutton busting, cash cow; keep the chickens and the pig. Pick up an Emery County Progress Fair guide for more info.
