Our Fair has just ended for this year. So many volunteers worked non-stop to make this year’s event a success. We couldn’t have done it without them and so “Thank you! To each and everyone.”
The fair was fun, enjoyable and great family entertainment. Lots of laughter and good times, worth every second.
Next year is coming and we want next year to be even better and to do this, we need your help.
We have had some great comments from survey participants. One participant would like to see more animal events. Several people wanted the fair to be set in August. Hopefully, the Commission can help with that decision soon with the public’s help.
On the rodeo survey, a participant suggested that we should keep the rodeo professional because we already have many amateur rodeos in our area. The pros bring the excitement of the bull riders and other rough stock events. Also, some people suggested that a 5 p.m. show time was too early, and caused people to miss the fireworks. Please tell us what you think what did you like, what would you like to see or see more of? How can we get more people involved? Are you willing to volunteer?
