Tables will be set up in that hallway with paperwork to be completed as part of registration. Student council members will be available to assist.
Internships: Students interested in a Work-Based Learning/Internship schedule are required to be enrolled in at least four on-campus classes each quarter. Contact a counselor or Work-Based Learning supervisor Linda Wilberg for more information.
Registration Fees: Fees are $60 and must be paid at the time of registration. All other fees, including band, chorus, shop, PE, photography, etc. must also be paid at the time of registration. Also, note that the Drivers’ Education fee is $100 per student. Athletic participation fees are $50 for football and $25 for all other programs. There is no longer a cap on athletic fees.
In addition, those participating in any athletic program, cheer, drill, and student government are required to pay an annual $15 drug-testing fee.
Dress Code: As you prepare to assemble clothing for the school year, please keep our dress code in mind and know that it will be vigorously enforced.
The dress code is published in the Emery High School Student Handbook which will be handed out at registration. It is also available on our website. It is your responsibility to read it carefully and know the standards of acceptability.
Yearbook Photos: School pictures for activity cards and the yearbook will be taken on each day of registration for all students. Photo packages for purchase will also be available. The dress code will apply for yearbook pictures and includes no hats, no face piercings, no sleeveless shirts, and no inappropriate slogans on shirts. If for some reason you are unable to have a photo taken on registration day, a make-up date has been scheduled for Sept. 27.
The first day of school is Tuesday, Aug. 23.
