The Emery County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two juveniles age 13 and age 15 in a string of burglaries in Ferron. According to Deputy Shaun Bell the juveniles are the suspects in the burglary of two residences and also the Ferron Library and the business Pat’s Sew-n-stuff. The juveniles were transported to the juvenile facility in Price. They will have a hearing and it will be determined if they are held or released until further court proceedings.
The suspects took two rings from a residence valued at $200 each, a bracelet at $400 and jars of change and other items. They allegedly hid the items in a fort. They also stole snacks and goodies.
The Emery County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the tellers at the Desertview Federal Credit Union in Ferron for their help on the case. The juveniles reportedly took the change into the credit union to have it put into bills.
