Bobby Alan Hancock, age 51, passed away on Aug. 9, 2016. He was born May 23rd, 1965 in St. George, Utah, to Dick Velt Hancock and Deanna Rae Olson Hancock. Bobby worked most of his life as a mechanic, did coal mining and construction for the making of the Glenwood Canyon Tunnel.
His religious faith was LDS. Bobby loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, boating and rebuilding cars. He was a pain in the butt, hard headed, hardworking man that was dedicated and devoted to his family.
He was a loving, Kind, giving, friendly, outgoing jokester who made people laugh and feel loved and welcomed.
Bobby is survived by his lovely wife Bonnie A. Hancock of Parachute, Colo; beautiful daughter Nicole A. Weller (Hancock), son-in-law (Jesse Weller) of Parachute, Colo; two amazing granddaughters Aliza R. Sherebernikoff, Adelina R. Weller, considered to be daughter, Brandi L. Johnson of Parachute, Colo; Brothers, Tony (Debbie) Hancock of Ferron, Utah, Wade (Lori) Hancock of Clawson, Utah, Monty Hancock of Ferron, Utah, brother-in-law Gary Ruybal of Parachute, Colo; sister Deeann Hancock of Ferron, Utah. Any contributions for the family should be made at any Wells Fargo Bank under Bonnie Hancock. Services were held Saturday, Aug. 13, 1 p.m. at Browns Funeral Home, 904 N. 7th Street, Grand Junction, Colorado.
