SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH-Roxie Gagel, age 72 passed away on Sept. 10, 2016 in Salt Lake City. Roxie was born July 1, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Grant and Dora Anderson McDonald and in her youth lived in Altona, Utah; Sunnyside, Utah; and later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Roxie married Gilbert Yelonek on May 29, 1961; together they had two children, Scott and Becky. They later divorced. She married Wade Gagel on July 29, 1983. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Roxie’s life at the Yelonek Residence (842 East 2640 South Price, Utah) between 2 and 4 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
