Terry Roy Jewkes joined his wife into the arms of Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 22, 2016 in St. George, Utah. He was born February 16, 1952 in Price, Utah to Bryant Terry and Vivian Haycock Jewkes. Terry grew up in Carbon and Emery county, Utah and later married Terry Lynn Cude on June 22, 1972 in East Carbon. Their marriage was solemnized on January 7, 1989 in the Manti Temple.
Terry was a hard worker. He worked for Sunnyside Coal for over 20 years. He ran and operated, along with his wife, numerous homestyle restaurants where they provided delicious baked goods along with simple family recipes.
Terry is survived by his children Gaylynn (Ryan) Mauss, Jennifer (Brian) Mitchell, Roy (Beth) Jewkes and Justin Jewkes, father Bryant Terry Jewkes, brothers Brian (Nancy) Jewkes and Calvin Scott (Lisa Anne) Jewkes, sisters Vivian K. Jewkes and Cindy (Jim) Cloward. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Terry Lynn Jewkes, mother Vivian Grace Jewkes and sister Marilyn Jewkes.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Orangeville City Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A viewing will be held 12:30 ” 1:30 PM at the Orangeville 2nd Ward Chapel (100 South Main Street) prior to the graveside.
