On Oct. 2, 2016, the world lost a beautiful soul and we lost a part of our hearts Daniel J. Pike, our son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend- Born to Robert B. Pike and Kelly J. Spruell on Nov. 5, 1985.
Danny enjoyed and excelled at most everything he put his mind to. But his true love was music. Whether listening to it or writing songs, playing and sharing it with others was his passion. Danny was a genuinely loving and kind-hearted person and always met you with a smile and a hug. He deeply loved his family and many, many friends. Everyone who knew him has a special memory of his kindness, his willingness to listen and offer a shoulder to cry on. He had the special ability to light up the room when he walked in. Danny was very intelligent, he was rarely satisfied with any standard answer to his questions so he took the time to look up and do research to find the answer he was satisfied with. His life and legacy will be defined by the love we all have for him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by everyone who was blessed enough to know him.
Survived by father Robert B. Pike- Price, Utah, mother Kelly J. Spruell- Albion, Ill., brother Cody Pike- Price, aunt Glorya Eaquinta, grandmother Joan Legat- both of Price, Utah., uncles Pete Eaquinta (Lynette), Ed Spruell (Mary Jane), Mike Spruell, Troy Akins (Teddi). Cousins- Alissa, Jessy, Jeremy Spruell, Kenny Patterson and Anna Jean- Penny Rae Akins. And many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by grandparents Robert A. and Charlotte Pike, Doyle Spruell, Peggy Akins, uncles Donnie and Nick Eaquinta and other loving family.
An account “Danny’s Desires Memorial Fund” has been set up at Cache Valley Bank in Price to help with final expenses.
Danny’s celebration of life will be on Oct. 22 at 12:00 Noon at the Tuscan Events Center in Price.
