PRICE-Our loving mother and grandmother, Doris Kennick Bottoms, age 93, passed peacefully Nov. 14, 2016 at home with her loving family around her. She was born Feb. 19, 1923 in Price, Utah to Hugh Rex and Eunice Hambrick Brandon. Doris married William “Bill” Kennick, July 8, 1940 in Price. They had six children prior to his passing on September 3, 1965. On February 24, 1978, she married Kenneth Leroy Bottoms in Grand Junction, Colorado. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1995. Funeral Mass was held, Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service was held, Thursday evening 7:30 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home where the family received friends Thursday and Friday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Price City Cemetery.
