Henry Joe Chavez, resident of Helper, Utah passed away at his home on Dec. 2, 2016. He was born March 20, 1928 in Rifle, Colo. to Mike and Flora Robal Chavez. He was one of nine children. He was raised in Rifle and there married his life long sweetheart Louise Margaret Gomez on Aug. 17, 1948. Graveside services will be held Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Mt View Cemetery in Helper, Utah. Interment will follow. Services are entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
