HUNTINGTON – Margeruite Virginia Manson was born Jan 19, 1929 in Aspen, Colo. to John (Jack) George Manson and Ruby Vera Holybee and left this world on Dec. 4, 2016 in Riverton, Utah. She died after suffering many health problems mostly due to her heart.
She married her eternal companion in Nov., 1956 later solemnized in the Manti Temple on March 29, 1975 and had some of her children sealed to her. She served in many church positions and loved all of them. She was a faithful member and tried to live to the best of her ability.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three of her siblings, Homer Manson, Dorcia Hardy and Lorena Manson; and great-grandson, Lucas Yee. She is survived by her sister, Dora Hergenreder; her children, Jack (Karla) Kennedy, Janice (Cato) Wagner, Ellen (Chris) Romaine, Shirley Peak, Sam (Jamie) Rogers, Scott (Judy) Rogers, Ben Rogers and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, 1 p.m. at the Huntington Stake Center (240 North Main) in Huntington. There will be a viewing for friends and family from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior the funeral. There will also be a short graveside service on Thursday at 12 noon in the Monticello Cemetery.
