Last week the Emery High boys’ soccer team won two games on the road. The soccer team defeated Grand in Moab on Tuesday by the score of 1-0 as Juan Caicedo scored an Emery goal in the first half of play and Tayvan Cook did not allow a Red Devil score.
On Thursday Emery traveled to Salina and defeated North Sevier by the score of 8-0. Cook again had a shutout and eight different Emery players scored in the game. Brock Winter, Colton Butler, Dalton Bennett, Dexton Miller, Juan Caicedo, Luis Martinez, Spencer Hadfield and Tanyon Allred all scored goals as the Spartans scored five times in the first half and three more times in the second half of play.
