A memorial for Gene and Elaine (Butler) Heaston is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at the LDS chapel, 50 N. 100 E, Wellington, Utah. Both Gene and Elaine were born and raised in Carbon County. They met while attending Carbon High School. They were married on November 27, 1941 when Gene was 19 and Elaine 18. When Gene passed on Dec. 22, 2014, they had been married 73 years. Elaine passed away on April 7, 2017.
