PRICE-Golda “LaRee” Noyes, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, age 81, of Price, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 22, 1936 in Consumers, Utah to Louie F. and Irene Wilson Ivie and was the oldest of three children. LaRee married the love of her life Neldon “Pete” Noyes on October 3, 1953 in Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They were married for 63 years and raised eight children on the family farm.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. LaRee’s life revolved around taking care of her family and supported her kids and grandkids in junior riding club, high school rodeo, moto cross racing and other activities. For 19 years she drove school bus for the Ann Self/Castle Valley Center and formed a special bond with her special students. She enjoyed crocheting hot pads, dish cloths, dish towels and afghans and shared them with her family and friends.
LaRee is survived by her husband Neldon, children Chuck (Nyla) Noyes, Wayne (Shelly) Noyes, Cole (Carolyn) Noyes, Spencer Noyes, Nelda (James) Coats, Wes (Bobbie) Noyes, Jeff (Melanie) Noyes and Trinie (Brandon) Payne, 27 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and brother Bill Ivie. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patsy Brown and sister-in-law LaRene Ivie.
Funeral service, Saturday, May 27, 2017, 10 a.m., Price Third LDS Ward, 300 West 500 South. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.
