Carol Jean (Downard) Penrod, 73, passed away on May 31, 2017 in her home in St. George, Utah after battling leukemia. She was born the youngest of three children on May 8, 1944 in Price, Utah to Alden Neils and Lois McMullin Downard. In November, 1973 she was married to her husband Lawrence (“Larry”) Penrod, a police officer from California. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Price LDS 1st Ward (150 South 500 East, Price, Utah). A viewing will take place prior to the funeral from 10-10:45 a.m. She will be buried in the Price City Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
