The deadline is approaching for coal miners working
in mines in Utah to apply to take certification exams.
The Utah Labor Commissions Coal Miner Certification Office
in Price says the deadline to apply for testing is Monday, July 3.

Certification tests will be offered in the following areas:
Underground electrician
Surface electrician
Underground fire boss
Underground mine foreman
Surface mine foreman
The exams will be administered on Friday, July 21, at the Carbon County Events Center
450 S. Fairgrounds Way, Price.
