The Emery High Rodeo Team participated in the Utah High School Finals rodeo in Heber City. Riata Christiansen was crowned the UHRA queen. She will compete in the national queen contest in Gillette, Wyoming in July. Competing at the Silver State rodeo in Winnemucca, Nev. will be Hayden Cloward, Korby Christiansen, Will Magnuson, Wyatt Magnuson and Koy Jensen.
In breakaway roping, Shaylee Gilbert finished 34th, Jessie McElprang finished 37th, Jessica Fox finished 40th, Makayla Jensen finished 45th and Riata Christiansen finished 59th.
In goat tying, Riata Christiansen finished 28th.
In reined cow horse, Korby Christiansen finished 15th and Drake Weber finished 16th.
In team roping, Hayden Cloward finished fourth, Will and Wyatt Magnuson finished seventh, Bowdie Jacobson finished 21st. Shaylee Gilbert and Makayla Jensen participated in team roping. Drake Weber and Jessie McElprang participated in team roping. Korby Christiansen participated in team roping and Dax Hall participated in team roping.
In tie down roping, Hayden Cloward finished 8th, Bowdie Jacobson finished 16th, Will Magnuson finished 22nd, Wyatt Magnuson finished 53rd, Korby Christiansen finished 60th. In bull riding, Caleb Rubio finished 17th.
In saddle bronc, Koy Jensen finished 12th. In trap shoot, Trinity Payne finished 24th.
