Obituary Delana A. Miller

Delana A. Miller, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at her home in Castle Dale on June 21, 2017. She was born September 14, 1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Burt and Lillian Moss Maughan. Delana was raised in Utah and California. She married Ron Noland and they were blessed with a son Erik. Ron passed away suddenly and later Delana was blessed to find and marry L Wood ‘Ted’ Miller in May of 1993.
Delana worked for many years as a manager in the hotel/motel industry and also worked as a medical receptionist. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
 She enjoyed crafts and floral arrangements, reading, and watching movies. She will always be remembered for her very thoughtful and giving qualities she extended to everyone, and her sense of humor. She always put others before herself and will always be treasured for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband L Wood ‘Ted’ Miller, her son and her daughter-in-law Erik and Carol Noland, her step children Jerry (Barbara) Miller, Thea (Bruce) Nichodemus, Tresa (Larry) Christensen, Newman (Laura) Miller, Timothy (Lois) Miller, Tera (Bill) Strohl, and Shane (Leah) Miller. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cassiopeia and Nikita Noland, 24 step grandchildren, many great grandchildren, siblings Jack Maughan, sister-in-law Caroline Maughan, Joy Purser, Morlene Rae Ririe and Toni Ornellas. Delana was preceded in death by her husband Ron Noland, parents, sister Sheryl Hunt, step grandchildren Jeremiah Miller and Brenda Nichodemus.
At her request cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date in the Castle Dale Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fausett Mortuary of Castle Dale.
