Heritage Days activities started over the weekend with the Heritage Days rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights. Activities continue this week beginning on Saturday with the Best Shot Competition ($20 Entry) Open to all ages, 18 and under require a parent or guardian to be present, 9 a.m. at the Seely Farm in Huntington Canyon SR-31, look for the sign.
On Saturday, Pet Contest: 2:30 p.m., City Park. Baby Contest 3:30 p.m., City Park. Kid’s Games and Competition 4:30 p.m., City Park. Dinner ($5 Plate $20 Family of 5) 5:30 p.m., City Park. Entertainment Val Jensen Band 5:30 p.m., City Park Pavilion.
On Sunday, July 2 at 7 p.m., the Huntington Glee Club fireside at the LDS Stake Center on Main Street in Huntington. The guest speaker for this event will be Lond Wakefield.
On Monday, July 3, a volleyball tournament at the city park at 5 p.m. An Ice Cream Social will be held at 6 p.m. at the City Park. Entertainment by No Limits begins at 7 p.m. City Park Pavilion. Running with Color event (be at starting line at 7:15 p.m.) race will start at 7:30 p.m. sharp, meet at Center and 400 East.
The Kid’s “Bike Parade of Lights” line up at 9-9:15 p.m. Center Street; Kid’s “Fireworks” 9:45 p.m., City Park. Horseshoe Tournament 7 p.m., Rodeo Grounds.
On July 4 the flag ceremony, 7:30 a.m. at the City Park. Breakfast in the park at 7:30-9 a.m. ($5 Plate $20 Family of 5). Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Huntington Main Street. Line up at Wards 4×4. Free kids attractions all day, City Park. DUP exhibit, all day, town hall. Wasatch Country Pickers at 11.30 a.m, City Park Pavilion. The Hypno Hick will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the City Park Pavilion. Lawn Mower Races at 4 p.m. Junior High Field.
Fireworks 9:45 p.m. Rodeo Grounds.
