Tony Bradley will visit Emery County on Aug. 1 at 3:30 p.m. He will work with the junior jazz players. The session is open to anyone wishing to attend. Bradley is one of the newest players for the Utah Jazz. He played in the Summer League with the team in Las Vegas and scored an average of 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds and two blocks per game in summer league.
Bradley is 6’11” and 240 pounds. He will play power forward and center for the Jazz. He was selected in the first round of the 2017 draft and was the 28th pick. Bradley is from Bartow, Fla. and played college ball at the University of North Carolina. He won a national championship with the University of North Carolina in 2017. He was the McDonalds All American player in 2016. He was named Mr. Basketball the best player in the state of Florida in 2016. He was the gatorade player of the year in 2016. He is the only player in history to record 150 or more rebounds in one season at UNC.
Bradley will meet with Emery County Players at Cottonwood Elementary in Orangeville. He will show them some of his basketball moves and will be available so the young players can have their pictures taken with him.
