The new Buckhorn Information Center “Panels” have been installed. Tina Carter from the Travel Bureau said, “If you have time in your day we encourage you to drive down and see them in person. The colors are striking and seem to jump out at you as you approach. The new “Map” will also be installed in a couple of weeks on the East side.
The Buckhorn Information Center sits at the cross roads of the desert. It also includes picnic tables, a restroom and a campfire area. At this crossroads you can continue down to the Wedge, travel to the Green River cut-off road or travel to Huntington and Castle Dale. The center is manned on major holiday weekends and includes brochures.
