PRICE-Jackie Lynn Durham Spigarelli, age 57, passed away suddenly Aug. 22, 2017 at her home in Price.
She was born Oct. 3, 1959 in Moab, Utah to William and Joan R. Guthrie Durham. Jackie grew up in Moab and later moved to Elmo with her family. After graduating from Emery High School, she married the love of her life, Gene E. Spigarelli on Oct. 1, 1977 in Price. From this marriage they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Michelle and Jessica. Gene preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2011.
Jackie’s life revolved around her family and friends. She shared a deep love for children and their well-being. Nothing brought her greater joy than being able to share her love with children, especially her grandchildren. For years she tended children in her home and everyone knew that Jackie would provide the best care possible.
Jackie loved to bowl, go snow-skiing and creating memories with her family. She enjoyed shopping, especially collecting coins and dolls. Jackie loved children so much that if she wasn’t caring for them, then she would be looking for the perfect precious moments figurine to round out her collection. Her home was always filled with love and her infectious smile could brighten anyone’s day. Rest in Peace Jackie, We Love You!!
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Spigarelli, Gooding, Idaho, Jessica (David) Bruce, Tooele; parents, Bill and Joan Durham, Elmo; sisters, Linda (Andy) Peterson, Elmo, Nita (Robert) Regruto, Helper, Barbara (Steven) Nostrom, Elko, Nev.; nine grandchildren, Koty, Richard, Riley, Makaya, Michael, Mason, Adrianna, Tevin and Alyssa; many loving nieces, nephews, longtime friends and neighbors.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene E. Spigarelli; brother, Billy Durham; infant brother, Bobby Durham; and niece, Carolyn O’Hearon.
Funeral service, Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jackie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
