Emery High opening assembly

Welcome Back EHS
With another summer passed and school beginning once again, Emery High School opened their doors to all the new and returning students.
To kick off the school year, Emery High hosted a Welcome Back Assembly to introduce the cheer and drill teams, Student Council members, and the new teachers to the student body.
Emery High School has changed drastically from the previous year. With the new class of Freshman and the change to an A/B block schedule, classes are underway. Everyone is, at least, a little excited for what this year will bring. The Emery High football team will be playing a game against Summit Academy on Friday. Everyone is encouraged to come out and cheer for the team. “Cheer loud for our team and not against the opponent,” said Principal Gordon. No matter who you are, old or young, support the high school and be a Spartan for this school year.
The student council members are Malone Moss, Carlie Robinson, Garrett Rowley, Abbie Huntington, Allen Durrant, Samantha Roberts, Elexis Dalton, Riata Christiansen, Jesse Braun, and Walker Woolsey. The Student Council members for Freshman and Sophomores will be decided in the following weeks.
