Rita Alderson

PRICE – Rita Maurine Jensen Alderson passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sept. 1, 2017. She was born April 29, 1934 in Huntington, Utah to Alferd Jensen and Ila Woolman on her mother’s new kitchen table. She is the 5th of 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls. Rita married Irvan “Bud” Alderson on July 12, 1986 and marriage was solemnized on Dec. 18, 1992 in the Manti LDS Temple. A viewing was held Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at the Price Stake Center, 150 South 500 East from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10–10:45 a.m. Interment followed at the Huntington City Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
