May Marchello

May Nettie Brown Marchello, died Oct. 19, 2017, in Price, Utah from complications of osteoporosis. She was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Price Utah to Charles Victor Brown and Nettie Josephine Mathena. She was the great granddaughter of Albert James Grames, that settled in Price in 1881.
On May 10, 1957, she married Earl John Marchello, in Spring Glen, Utah. They moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where they raised their four children on a farm in Berger. Victoria Elizabeth Marchello, Price, Utah; Cindy Earline Marchello, Ogden, Utah; Carl Kenneth Marchello, Twin Falls, Idaho; Alex Scott Marchello, Price, Utah.
She was the oldest of seven children. Pat Brown (Theresa), Wyo; Elnora Clark (John), Utah; Jane Jensen (Gene), Grantsville, Utah; Ben Brown (Scarlet), Hurricane, Utah.
May was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles Henry Brown, and sister Betty Joan Owen.
May was a nurse for over 50 years. She ended her career as a Pink Lady at Castleview Hospital in Price. Her passion for crocheting was followed closely by her love of bowling. Twice winning Utah State Women’s Senior Championship. Her favorite bowling partner was her sister, Elnora.
She will be missed by many, especially those privileged to call her Mema.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at Noon at Fausett Mortuary in Price. A viewing will be from 10-11:45 a.m.
