CASTLE DALE- Glen Dell Maxfield, 78, passed away on Oct. 23, 2017 at Castleview Hospital in Price, Utah from kidney failure due to complications of pulmonary fibrosis.
Dell was born on April 21, 1939 in Gunnison, Utah to Weldon “Shorty” and Helen Robinson Maxfield. He was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from West High School. Dell served honorably in the US Army and Army Reserve.
On July 21, 1961 he married the only girl he ever dated, Miriam “Billie” Billeter. They were married 56 years, three months and two days.
Dell worked for Mt. Fuel Supply in Sandy, Utah and then retired from Eastman Kodak Company in Windsor, Colorado.
Dell is survived by his wife, Billie; sister in law, Judy Smith, Ft. Collins, Colo.; Nephew, Randy (Jeanne) Maxfield, Lindon, Utah, many other nieces and nephew.
Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Rex and Ken Maxfield; nephew, Josh Maxfield; in-laws, Willard and Gwen Billeter.
Dell requested to be cremated. There will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Dell online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
