Emery volleyball at state tourney

Emery volleyball played two matches today at the state tournament. They started play against South Summit. They won the first game 19-25, and lost the next three games 16-25; 18-25 and 12-25.
This loss dropped the Spartans into the consolation bracket where they played South Sevier. They won the first game 25-21 and then dropped the next three 19-25; 20-25, 23-25.
This loss to South Sevier eliminated the Spartans from the tournament. They will lose four seniors this year and will return many experienced players for next season.
