Utah College bound students will be happy to know that A-1 Auto Transport, Inc., one of the largest car shipping companies in North America, has decided to extend their chance for a college scholarship opportunity to local students. The scholarship, available in denominations ranging from $250 to $1000 will be open for entry to students who write a 1000-word minimum essay/article with a topic pertaining to automobile transport.
Topics of interest may include car shipping, open shipping, international car transport, overseas moving, motorcycle or ATV shipping and other areas of interest in the automobile transport industry. All essay entries will be placed on the company website along with the students name to be voted on by the public. Entries will be accepted until March 10, 2018 and winners will be determined by the Scholarship Committee by the end of March 2018.
Eligible students must have a verifiable GPA minimum of 3.0 and must be enrolled in a fully accredited two or four -ear college or trade school. There is no age requirement to enter if the student is enrolled in school. All scholarship awards will be sent to the financial office of the school.
To enter, students need to write and send their essay/article to: scholarships@a1autotransport.com by the deadline. Entries must also include the students full name, contact information and the school they will attend. Entries will be accepted on a rolling basis.
