Donna Otterstrom

CASTLE DALE-Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Donna Caroline Draper Otterstrom, 75, passed away Nov. 19, 2017 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.
She was born April 6, 1942 in Lane City, Nev. to Donald Lee Draper and Alma Burnett. On Jan. 19, 1965, she married Jack N. Otterstrom in Fruita, Colo.
Donna was a very simple individual who devoted her life to family. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than caring for her family. She was always helping others and never asking for anything in return. Donna loved to sing, listen to music and go shopping. She will be sorely missed by her family and a community of friends.
Survivors include her husband, Jack N. Otterstrom, Castle Dale; sister, Mary Ann (Tom) Muncy, Paonia, Colo.; one daughter and two sons, Jodi Marie Burdick, Heath N. (Jennifer) Otterstrom, both of Castle Dale, Jay Lee (Sherry) Otterstrom, Independence, Ore.; eight grandchildren, Majesta Dawn Pitner, Brian John Burdick, both of Castle Dale, Sheresa Marie Jensen, Elmo, Krysania Bryanne Otterstrom, Dallas, Texas, Kellan Don Otterstrom, Nikolas “Tyler” Otterstrom, both of Castle Dale, Jaden Lee Otterstrom, Caelan J. Otterstrom, both of Independence, Ore.; and seven great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John and Donald Draper.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, 11 a.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to service. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Moab at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
