Dear Editor:
We have heard and saw a lot the last few days about Fire Departments from Northern Utah sending teams to help fight the horrible fires in Southern California, but many do not realize that we have local folks on the scene as well. Fire Fighters and engines from Carbon, Emery, Grand, and San Juan counties are also there. Please keep all those touched by these horrific fires in your thoughts and prayers that the fires will end soon for the citizens of southern California and all the fire fighters will return safely to their families.
