Brett White has started a new small engine repair shop in Castle Dale. Castle Valley Small Engine is on the Castle Dale Main Street. White grew up in Castle Dale and always had an interest in taking things apart and discovering how they worked.
He attended a motorcycle/small engine technical school in Salt Lake in 2010. He worked in a Stihl chainsaw shop for two years in Provo. He worked as a salesman for a company that manufactured welding equipment for three years.
During this time he was always fixing small engines on the side and in April of 2016 he branched off and started doing repairs full time. He called his company Brett White Repairs. In March of 2017 Brett and his family moved back home to Castle Dale and branched out with a new name and they bought a piece of land on Main Street and built a shop.
The shop is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9-5. On Wednesday and Saturdays the shop is open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. He will work on anything with a small engine including yard equipment, mowers, chain saws, snow blowers, trimmers, ATVs, motorcycles, side by sides, just about everything. Give him a call at 381-5282.
He is a certified repairman earning his certification from Salt Lake Community College.
Brett’s family includes his wife Jessica and children Echo and Aspen.
The Emery County Business Chamber welcomed White to the Emery County Business community with a ribbon cutting. White served hot chocolate and had several drawings for prizes. He stocks a supply of helmets and ATVs for purchase along with other riding equipment.
The business chamber has named Castle Valley Small Engine as the Business of the Month. The business chamber will begin their monthly Lunch and Learn events on Jan. 17. These informative lunches are held every other month.
The business chamber welcomes White and his repair shop and wishes him great success with his new venture.
